jordaan mason:
jordaan mason grew up in a small canadian border town, between where lake erie turns into the niagara river, with lake ontario just above. he has always, in some way, been stuck between the two. he spent many years going in and out of projects with other musicians, but decided to finally settle down on his own. prior to writing songs, jordaan mostly wrote a lot of words without music. his first album found him trying to reconcile his style of writing with sound. his second album has found him succeeding. over time, his subject matter shifts, but lately his songs are generally reflective of, but not limited to, the great lakes, coney island, horses, ghosts, birds, a boy, and whales. listen: "skeleton" "happy birthday" "drunk garden boy "hardwood floors" "the wind" discography: mantra songs (coming soon) make blankets your yard (2005) sleeping on lake erie ep (2005) one day the horses will have their revenge (2004) |
